Given the increasingly complex environmental requirements, BALTRADER is committed to continuously improve the sustainability of its fleet. The Green Shipping activities focus primarily on selected retrofitting measures that achieve demonstrable success in a short time.
In cooperation with ARKTIK, Hamburg, BALTRADER now also offers a CO2 calculator for environmentally conscious customers. Here you can calculate the CO2 emissions of individual ship routes and request an environmental certificate.

The BALTRADER online CO2 calculator allows you to calculate the CO2 emissions of individual voyages from the port of departure to the port of arrival at any time (CO2 footprint of your cement transport).
- Simply follow the steps below and then click “Calculate Now”.
- Our calculator will show you the CO2 emissions for the defined voyage (incl. loading and unloading operation).
- You will then have the opportunity to make your transport climate neutral by supporting high-quality climate protection projects.
