Ship Management
BALTRADER is currently responsible for the commercial and operational management of self-discharging cement carriers with a transport capacity of 3000 to 6700 t (DWCC).

In addition to chartering and operating its own fleet, BALTRADER also uses its expertise in cement logistics as a shipbroker for cement and shipping companies.
Project Engineering
BALTRADER has extensive practical experience in the conversion of multipurpose vessels into specialized self-discharging cement vessels. We therefore offer a wide range of services related to newbuildings and conversion, together with the superintendents and engineers of the BRISE Group and other project partners:
- Planning and implementation of conversion and newbuilding projects
- Search for and selection of vessels suitable for conversion
- Technical specifications including selection of discharge systems
- Selection of appropriate shipyards
- Supervision of construction
Logistics Consulting
Logistics means motion and constant change That’s why we continuously work with our customers to optimize logistical processes. Our goal is to increase our competitiveness with innovative distribution approaches using the most modern specialized cement ships. In addition, we offer our customers comprehensive consulting services in cement logistics:
- Sales and Purchase: We develop concepts for optimal ship technology, consider candidates for conversion and provide advice on choosing possible loading systems
- Marketing Research: As a basis we create fleet analyses and advise on market structures and marketing
- Ship Surveys
- Silo Managment
